Be careful to take note of the instructor’s attitude toward you questions and if they seem disinterested, then look for someone else. All good instructors have a passion for what they do and will be happy to answer your questions. But also make sure that you are not taking up too much of their time, after all they do have classes to run.

It is just as important that the teacher is good with people as well as dogs. This is because you will be learning as well as your dog and you will want to work with someone who is willing to take the time to explain things to you so you can properly train your dog.
